It is great at the coast of Costa Blanca!
Jávea is a very charming coastal town on the Costa Blanca. Located in the province of Alicante in the Valencia region. It lies between the capes Cabo de San Antonio and La Nao, sheltered by the magical Montgo Jávea has over 27,000 inhabitants. It is a surprisingly sprawling area comprising the authentic village, a lively port and the well-known promenade of El Arenal. A real gem where the microclimate prevails with mild temperatures in winter and balmy warm summers.

The old town of Jávea
The old town is really still authentic and has a small market hall where you can still buy many local products. The town has narrow streets and picturesque squares.
Nice tapas restaurants and wine bars will certainly not be lacking. The old town has many old historic buildings and streets to wander through.

The port of Jávea
The fishing port where fishing boats arrive daily with fresh fish for the fish market and surrounding restaurants. The port of Jávea, is called the Duanes de la Mar. The beautiful beach near the port completes the lively area.
Besides the fishing port, a marina can also be found in Duanes de la Mar. In the marina, you can enjoy good food and there you can do water sports, diving or rent a boat.

El Arenal and little bays like Cala Moraig
You can find many small coves such as Cala Moraig, Portixol and Cala Clemence, among others. Of course, we also have a sandy beach El Arenal in Javea. At the edge of the fine sandy beach is a beautiful wide promenade with many restaurants, bars and shops.
If you like water sports you will also get your money’s worth. Water sports available here include jet skiing, water skiing, kayaking, surfing, diving and snorkelling. You can even play volleyball on the sandy beach and there is a small playground on the beach for the little ones.
In the evening, there are sometimes markets on the promenade and cosy cocktail bars on the oh-so-cosy and well-known “El Arenal”.

The water falls of Algar
Is definitely a place you should go to once!
You can even swim in the waterfall although the water is freezing cold.
It is a beautiful area that you can also combine with, for example, Guadalest with its beautiful reservoirs.
What is there to do in Jávea and surroundings?
Whether you want to relax in one of the nice little bays in the area or parade along the promenade of El Arenal. From a healthy breakfast or tapas to a sumptuous dinner or just a nice ice cream. It’s all possible at our boulevard “El Arenal”.
Those who love sports can indulge in mountain climbing, cycling, hiking and water sports. How about a kayak trip through Jávea’s water caves or snorkelling in the waters of the beautiful Granadella.
For culture lovers, visiting the authentic village with its small picturesque market hall where you can buy all the fresh local produce is also a must do. Or do you prefer to go to the lively port where the fishing boats arrive and where you will find countless restaurants and boutiques. So you see, there is something for everyone.
